This statement is made pursuant to s.54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and sets out the steps that Tite-Fix Ltd has and is continuing to take to ensure modern slavery or human trafficking is not taking place within our business operations or our supply chain.
Modern slavery encompasses slavery, servitude, human trafficking and forced labour. Tite-Fix Ltd has a zero-tolerance approach to any form of modern slavery. We are committed to acting ethically, with integrity and transparency in all business dealings and to putting effective systems and controls in place to safeguard against any form of modern slavery taking place within the business or our supply chain.
OUR BUSINESS:
Tite-Fix are suppliers of quality screws and fixings to various industry sectors. We are a small to medium sized business easily able to control and monitor our workforce and procedures to ensure no form of slavery takes place.
OUR SUPPLIERS:
We source materials associated with our operations from a small number of respected suppliers with whom we maintain a close working relationship. So far as reasonably practicable we will monitor our suppliers to ensure they take the same zero-tolerance stance towards slavery.
We conduct reasonable levels of due diligence on all suppliers before allowing them to become a preferred supplier to our business. Our anti -slavery policy forms part of our contract with all suppliers and they are required to confirm that no part of their business operations contradicts this policy.
Where we request pre-qualification information before placing orders, as part of our contract with suppliers, we require that they confirm to us:
✓ They have taken steps to eradicate modern slavery within their business.
✓ They hold their own suppliers to account over modern slavery.
✓ UK based suppliers pay their employees at least the national minimum wage or national living wage, as appropriate.
We may terminate our relationship with any supplier, at any time should any instances of modern slavery or human trafficking come to light.
